I should add that this definitely could have been completed by now if people were OK keeping the source code open for production. I don't know what any of the other plans are. I guess 8chan is just going to languish into obscurity because no one gives a shit anymore. It's a shame.

I host this site on one of my many VPSs. It's not a large expense and piggybacks on other uses.

I've never officially called it quits, and I'd like to see it finished one day, but I'm indulging many endeavors I neglected all last year right now. My impetus in development is making things that people use. If the userbase shrinks down to only a handful of admins who want to run it on their own sites, I can't really justify spending the time I could be using to progress myself and my aspirations.
